(Hartley)– A snowmobile accident early Tuesday in O’Brien county claimed the life of a Hartley man.
Authorities say 47-year-old Randall Lee Graves was snowmobiling four miles northwest of Hartley when he lost control while crossing a gravel road. The snowmobile became airborne…landing in a field on the south side of the road.
Graves was taken by ambulance to the Spencer Municipal Hospital where he died of his injuries.
The mishap was reported to authorities around 4:00 a.m. It remains under investigation by the O’Brien County Sheriff’s Office and Iowa Department of Natural Resources.
