SMU Starts Up Telephone Service

(Spencer)– An important milestone for Spencer Municipal Utilities and its telecommunications system. S-M-U Marketing Director Curtis Dean says they’ve started hooking up customers to their telephone service. Dean says not all Spencer residents have access to the new service yet. It’s available mainly in areas already being served by S-M-U’s cable television or internet service. Dean says the phone service will soon be available in other parts of town not already being served.
