(Milford)– A report of smoke resulted in the brief evacuation of a Milford daycare center Thursday.
Firefighters were called to Safari Daycare at 403 “P” Avenue around 3:30 p.m.
The source of the smoke was traced to a washing machine.
The daycare was briefly evacuated. The smoke quickly dissipated and children and workers were allowed to return a short time later.
The center is back up and running as usual today (Friday).
