(Spirit Lake)– The remodeling project at Spirit Lake High School may continue all the way up until the day before school starts. The Spirit Lake School Board received that message Monday evening while being brought up to date on the project.
A construction manager reported the project is proceeding slower than expected.
The new addition is still targeted for completion in early October.
Cost for the project continues to run higher than expected. The board Monday evening approved an additional 46-thousand dollars in changeorders. It brings the total anticipated cost of the project to 5.9 million dollars.
