(Undated)– Congratulations to some area high school musicians.
The Spirit Lake High School choruses participated Friday night in the State Large Group Music Contest in LeMars. The Concert Choir received a division two, or excellent rating; Meistersingers earned a division one, or superior rating from all three judges.
The Spirit Lake High School Concert Band received a division one rating in class 3A.
The Okoboji High School Concert Choir received a division two rating and the Concert Band a division one rating in its class in the Iowa High School Music Association’s State Large Group Music Festival in Garner this past Saturday.
