(Spirit Lake)– The Spirit Lake High School marching band “The Force” earned second place in its class at the Sioux City StarFest marching competition this past Saturday.
That earned the band the right to compete in the evening finals where they earned sixth place out of 14 bands for the day, finishing ahead of several class 4A schools.
Their next competition is this Saturday at the Festival of Bands in Sioux Falls.
