(Des Moines)– A Spirit Lake woman is one of three people nominated by Governor Vilsack to fill two vacancies on the state’s Environmental Protection Commission.
The governor’s list of appointments to the E-P-C was presented to the Senate Monday. It did not include the names of Gary Priebe of Algona and Rita Venner of Breda.
Priebe served 18 years on the commission.
Donna Buell of Spirit Lake is one of the governor’s nominees.
