(Spirit Lake)– A traffic stop Sunday in Spirit Lake resulted in the arrest of an Estherville man on a drug charge.
The Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office says a deputy pulled over a vehicle on Highway 9 and could detect an odor of burning marijuana as he approached it. Upon investigating the deputy determined 19-year-old Jacobi Lange of Estherville had what’s alleged to be a marijuana smoking device on his person.
Lange was placed under arrest and booked into the Dickinson county jail on a charge of possession of drug parapheranalia.
The Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office was assisted on the scene by the Spirit Lake Police Department.
