SL Traffic Stop Leads To Drug Charges Against Curlew Man

(Spirit Lake)– Drug charges have been filed against a Curlew man as the result of a traffic stop Thursday evening in Spirit Lake.

Police say they pulled over a motorcycle around 6:20 p.m. being operated by 50-year-old Bruce Plucker.

Plucker was charged with driving while revoked due to a previous operating while intoxicated charge.

A search by police resulted in the discovery of a green leafy plant-like material believed to marijuana along with a drug that requires a prescription.

Plucker was also charged with possession of a controlled substance…third or subsequent offense; prohibited acts; possession of a drug that requires a prescription; possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to re-file S-R Insurance.

Plucker was booked into the Dickinson county jail.
