(Spirit Lake)– Meeting in special this (Tues.) morning, the Spirit Lake school board awarded a bid for a project to stabilize the ground on the site of an expansion project at the Middle School.
The board awarded the project to Cohr’s Construction of Spirit Lake, who submitted the low bid of 82,668-dollars. The price is within the estimate from CPMI, the school district’s construction consultant.
The board awarded the bid following a public hearing that drew no comments.
Silimar work had to be done at the high school site prior to construction that was done there. Officials say the work is needed to provide a stable surface for a foundation.
