(Spirit Lake)– Drug and trespassing charges have been filed against two Laurens men in connection with an alleged incident early Wednesday in Spirit Lake.
Spirit Lake police say they were called to the corner of 18th Street and Erie Avenue on a report of suspicious persons. Upon arriving officers made contact with Todd and Michael Griffin of Laurens. Both men were arrested following an investigation. They were charged with possession of a controlled substance…methamphetamine; and possession of a controlled substance…marijuana…both serious misdemeanors; and trespassing…a simple misdemeanor. Todd Griffin was also charged with providing false information…a serious misdemeanor.
Both men were booked into the Dickinson county jail.
They are innocent until proven guilty.
