(Lakefield, Mn.)– A Spirit Lake man escaped injury this (Monday) morning in a one-vehicle rollover in Jackson county.
The Sheriff’s Office says 20-year-old Thomas Struthers of Spirit Lake was northbound on Highway 86 and was passing a semi when he lost control of a 2000 Chevrolet on the ice-covered road. The vehicle went into the east ditch where it rolled twice.
No injuries were reported but the vehicle Struthers was driving was totalled.
The mishap took place shortly after 8:00 a.m.
The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office was assisted on the scene by the Lakefield Police Department.
