(Spirit Lake)– Minor injuries were reported in a two-vehicle this (Thurs.) morning at the intersections of Highways nine and 71 and Hill Avenue in Spirit Lake.
Police say 45-year-old Michael Puetz of Okoboji had stopped for a red light when he was rear-ended by a vehicle driven by 60-year-old Kathleen Peterson of Okoboji.
Both Puetz and Peterson sought treatment for possible neck injuries.
500-dollars in damage was estimated to a 1998 Chevrolet Lumina driven by Peterson; a thousand dollars in damage was estimated to a 1995 Chrysler driven by Puetz.
Peterson was charged with following too closely.
The mishap took place around 9:20 a.m.
