(Paullina)– A meth lab bust in O’Brien county has resulted in charges against a Sioux City man.
O’Brien county authorities say information they received about a meth lab at 105 East Day Street in Paullina led to the execution of a search warrant. They say deputies from O’Brien and Pocahontas counties located evidence of manufacturing along with some drug paraphernalia. Investigators say they learned during the investigation some items related to the meth lab had been disposed in a dumpster. Those items were also recovered and processed.
Arrested in connection with the case was 47-year-old Richard Stanley Osgerby of Sioux City. He was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine. He was booked into the O’Brien county jail on bond of one thousand dollars.
Authorities say further charges are pending and additional arrests are expected pending the outcome of state lab tests on the evidence that was gathered.
