(Sheldon)– Authorities have charged a northwest Iowa woman with making a false report after she allegedly called 911 and claimed she killed her three children.
Kimberly Boneschans of Sheldon called the O’Brien County Sheriff’s Office Tuesday afternoon. Deputy Dean Fjeld says she called from a cell phone, left a fake name and address, then hung up.
Fjeld says authorities traced the cell phone back to Boneschans and determined her children “are fine”.
Fjeld says Boneschans was taken to the O’Brien county jail and later released. Fjeld says she was arrested again on Tuesday on a parole violation and taken to the Clay county jail in Spencer.
Sheriff Randy Krukow says Boneschans is being held on no bond pending a court hearing. He didn’t know if she had an attorney.
