(Spirit Lake)– Spirit Lake native and Nashville recording artist Shannon Brown is out with a new single and album.
Brown told KUOO today she’s signed on with a new label and has a new manager with ties to national athletic events…meaning she’ll be singing the National Anthem occasionally.
The title of Brown’s new single…to be released next month is, “Baby I Lied”…a re-make from Deborah Allen. Brown’s new album is due out in January…but she’s hopeful it will be bumped up to November or December.
To celebrate the upcoming releases, Brown announced today she’ll be putting on a free concert August 18th in Spirit Lake. She says a crew with Country Music Television is expected to be in town to do some promotional taping during the concert.
