(Spirit Lake)– The cab of a semi-tractor parked outside a residence in the Center Lake area was damaged by fire Thursday.
The Spirit Lake Fire Department was called to 2232 165th Street around 10:40 a.m. Fire Chief Wally Jorgenson says the dash of the tractor was on fire when they arrived and the engine was running. Jorgenson says firefighters shut it off and quickly extinguished the fire.
The driver wasn’t around at the time.
The cause of the fire isn’t certain.
The tractor is owned by DeVall Trucking of Spirit Lake.
Firefighters were at the scene about a half hour.
