(Spirit Lake)– A second Physician’s Assistant has joined the staff at Iowa Lakes Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine in Spirit Lake.
Courtney Linton joined the practice in October and is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. She is licensed to practice in Iowa and Minnesota.
Linton will see patients, assist doctors in surgery and provide post-surgical care in the hospital and clinic settings. She will also assess patient symptoms, order testing, interpret test results and x-rays, diagnose conditions and prescribe treatments and medications.
Linton received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Exercise Science from the University of Sioux Falls. She completed the Physician Assistant Studies Program at the University of South Dakota in Vermillion.
