(Everly)– Clay county authorities are investigating several burglaries in the Everly area that took place over the past week or so.
The Sheriff’s Office says the burglaries took place in the early morning hours of Wednesday, February 16th and Thursday, February 17th at Dave’s Sand and Gravel in Everly and several farms northwest of Everly. Thieves made off with a plasma cutter, welder, chop saw, tool box, and numerous hand tools. Entry was gained by breaking small doors of the buildings.
Deputies are looking for two or more suspects. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Clay County Sheriff’s Office at 262-3221.
