(Cylinder)– Palo Alto county authorities are still looking for a suspect wanted in a robbery earlier this week of the Iowa Trust and Savings Bank in Cylinder.
The suspect, described as a man in his early 20’s, entered the bank around 8:40 a.m. Tuesday and got away with an undetermined amount of money.
He was seen leaving the area in a burgundy Chevrolet. A vehicle matching that description was found on fire a short time later at the intersection of two county roads north of Rodman. No one was around it. The 1989 Monte Carlo had been reported stolen from a dealership in Gilmore City.
