(Ruthven)– The Ruthven Care Center is getting a sizable grant from the federal government.
U-S Senator Chuck Grassley says the U-S Department of Housing and Urban Development has awarded the Ruthven Care Center a 35-thousand 233-dollar grant. The money is part of the Demonstration Planning Grant Program.
Grassley says the funding will help Ruthven Community Care Center put plans in place that will help them better serve the community.
The grant program supports pre-development activities for a wide array of projects. The funds can be used for architectural and engineering work, site control and other expenses related to the development of a particular project.
