(Spirit Lake)– A rural Spirit Lake teen was injured in a one-vehicle roll-over late Sunday afternoon northwest of Spirit Lake.
The Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office says 17-year-old Anthony Brooks lost control of a 1999 Mercury Sable as he was traveling west on 125th Street. The vehicle left the road, traveled into the south ditch, went through a fence and into a soybean field where it rolled twice before coming to rest on its top.
Brooks was ejected from the vehicle.
He was taken by ambulance to Lakes Regional Healthcare. The extent of his injuries wasn’t known.
The mishap took place shortly after 5:00 p.m. Sunday.
