(Terril)– Charges have been filed against a rural Spirit Lake man in connection with a burglary early this (Fri.) morning near Terril.
The Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a suspicious person at an abandoned farm place about a mile east of Terril around 6:00 a.m. Authorities say 30-year-old Michael Huffman was arrested near the scene and was charged with two counts of third degree burglary, one count of theft in the fifth degree and one count of drug paraphernalia.
Some antiques allegedly stolen from the farm place were found in the vehicle Huffman had allegedly been driving along with some drug paraphernalia.
Huffman was booked into the Dickinson county jail.
