(Spirit Lake)– Motorists on Hill Avenue south of 19th Street in Spirit Lake can expect some delays again.
Crews have moved back in to finish and repair some items that couldn’t be done last fall.
Motorists can expect intermittent delays…especially on the northbound lanes where three concrete panels are being replaced in the area of 26th Street.
On another project, pavement removal continues in several intersections along Highway Nine through the city as that project is just getting a good start. Crews started removing street lights Wednesday. Motorists are urged to use extra caution when travelling on Highway Nine through the city…especially at night as it will be darker without street lights.
The Highway Nine project, consisting of re-surfacing and storm sewer work, will continue through the summer.
Most of the work so far with that project has been concentrated between Jackson Avenue and the east city limits. The construction will eventually extend further west…to the junction with Highway 86.
