November 22, 2014

(Estherville)– Burglary and theft charges have been filed against a Ringsted man following an investigation into burglaries that occurred to five homes in Ringsted during April and May of this year.

Emmet County Sheriff Mike Martens says 21-year-old William Wolfert of Ringsted has been charged with five counts of burglary in the third degree, a class “D” felony; and one count of theft in the fourth degree, a serious misdemeanor.

Wolfert made an initial appearance before a Magistrate last week and was released on bond.
