(Paullina)– More road work is getting underway in the area. This time it’s on a stretch of Highway 10 in Sioux and O’Brien counties.
Officials with the Iowa Department of Transportation’s Sioux City construction office say crews will be doing some patching and re-surfacing work between Highway 75 and O’Brien County Road L-48 west of Paullina.
Officials say one lane may be closed at a time in that area with traffic being assisted by flaggers and a pilot car.
They say it’s the first part of a large resurfacing project on Highway 10 that’s expected to be ongoing through mid-June.
Work was to begin today (Monday 3/29).
Motorists are reminded to drive with caution, obey posted speed limit and other signs in the work area, and be aware that traffic fines for moving violations are atleast double in work zone areas.
