(Estherville)– The Emmet County Parent Education Project, in conjunction with Timeout Nursery, have been awarded a grant from Prevent Child Abuse Iowa making it possible for them to continue their series of Parent Education Workshops this fall and winter.
Linda Wiegman, Parent Education Coordinator, says as in the past, the once-a-month workshops will be presented free of charge. She says she’s in the process of scheduling the workshops for the upcoming season.
The first workshops of the new season will be held Tuesday, September 27th at DeMoney Elementary School in Estherville.
In addition, a “Family Fun Night” is planned for Tuesday, October 4th at Joe Hoy Park in Estherville. Food, fun and fellowship will be presented free of charge.
