Races Taking Shape In Emmet County School Board Elections

November 22, 2014

(Undated)– The Armstrong-Ringsted school district will be a hotbed of activity in next month’s school board election. Four people are running for an at-large position and three are running for the district one seat.

For the at-large seat, incumbent Gregory Buum faces competition from Mike Dale, Karrie Hammon and Marti Kindrick.

Incumbent Lisa McConnell is being challenged for her district one seat by Marilyn Cheever and Rod Foster.

There are no races in the Estherville-Lincoln Central district where incumbent Molly Jo Anderson is running unopposed for election to an un-expired two-year term and incumbents Michael Karels and Donald Schiltz are unopposed for their respective seats.
