(Spirit Lake)– A pursuit early Sunday through Spirit Lake resulted in multiple charges against a Little Rock man.
The Spirit Lake Police Department says an officer tried to pull over a 1999 Dodge Neon for a traffic stop in the 600 block of Hill Avenue around 3:00 a.m. Police say the driver refused to stop, leading them on a pursuit that ended with the suspect vehicle finally pulling over on Highway 71 near 30th Street in Spirit Lake.
The driver, 27-year-old Steven Patridge of Little Rock, was arrested and charged with operating while intoxicated…third offense; eluding law enforcement; driving while barred; no insurance; driving on the wrong side of a two-way highway; stopping on the paved portion of a highway; reckless driving; two counts of speeding; two counts of failure to obey a red light and five counts of failure to obey a stop sign.
Partridge was booked into the Dickinson county jail.
Spirit Lake police were assisted by the Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office and the Okoboji, Arnolds Park and Milford Police Departments.
