Pleas Entered In Osceola County Cases

(Sibley)– Three men have entered guilty pleas to various charges in Osceola County District Court.

19-year-old James Ronellenfitch of Sibley pled guilty to a charge of person under legal age. He was sentenced to 30 days in jail. Ronellenfitch also pleaded guilty to a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. He was sentenced to 30 days on that charge as well.

37-year-old John Rassel of Sibley pled guilty to a charge of indecent contact with a child, an aggravated misdemeanor. Rassel was ordered to serve 70 days in jail and to register as a sex offender. He was also ordered to pay a 500-dollars fine and was placed on probation for two years. Rassel also pled guilty to three charges of violating a protective order. He was fined 50 dollars on each charge. The charges stem from sexual contact with a 12-year-old child that occurred in April of last year.

18-year-old Timothy Stanley, Junior of Worthington, Minnesota pled guilty to attempted burglary in the third degree, an aggravated misdemeanor. He was sentenced to a year in jail with all but 30 days of the time suspended. Stanley was also ordered to pay a 500-dollar fine and surcharges and was placed on two years’ probation. Stanley also pled guilty to criminal trespass and theft in the fifth degree…both simple misdemeanors. He was ordered to pay a 50-dollar fine on each charge plus surcharges. The charges stem from a burglary and trespassing incident that occurred in rural Osceola county.
