(Milford)– The Milford Fire Department will be holding an open house Saturday to present plans for a new fire station to the public.
Fire Chief Don Eckard says they want public input on the plan to build a new station on the north side of town. Eckard says it would be 90 by 140 feet in size, costing in the neighborhood of 700-thousand dollars. He says the department has simply outgrown the present facility.
Saturday’s open house will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12 Noon at the existing station in downtown Milford.
