(Lake Park)– Planning for the community center in Lake Park has kicked into high gear now that a Vision Iowa Community Attraction and Tourism grant and other financing has been secured.
Mayor Ann Ditsworth says a meeting was recently held with Dinner Date and Senior Center officials, key players in the project. She says a tentative floor plan has been drawn up.
Ditsworth says more definitive plans will be put together on Thursday when a meeting will be held with the architect on the project. The public is invited to attend to give additional input on that and other portions of the project.
