(Spirit Lake)– The field of candidates running for Mayor in Spirit Lake has been narrowed from three to two.
Darwin Pike filed a statement with the Dickinson County Auditor’s office on Tuesday withdrawing as a candidate. Tuesday was the last day to do that.
That leaves incumbent Mayor Eric Nielsen in the race along with Doug Ricke.
The filing period for this November’s municipal elections expired last week.
