(Estherville)– Voters in Emmet county will decide who the county’s next Treasurer will be.
County Auditor Bev Juhl told the Emmet county board of supervisors Tuesday that a petition has been filed calling for a special election.
Betty Anderson held the position previously. Sandy Guge of Estherville was appointed by the supervisors to fill the vacancy.
The special election has been tentatively set for early March.
