(Round Lake, Mn.)– No injuries were reported this (Monday) morning in a house fire near Round Lake, Minnesota.
The Round Lake and Brewster Fire Departments were called to the Ralph and Virginia Schenck residence about two miles north of Round Lake around 7:00 a.m.
Authorities say the blaze started in the attic where a chimney from a woodburning stove had overheated.
Firefighters were able to contain the fire to the attic and the upstairs portion of the house, which sustained heavy smoke and water damage.
No injuries were reported.
