(Sibley)– An improvement project at an Osceola county childcare facility is getting some federal funding.
U-S Senator Charles Grassley announced Tuesday a 50-thousand dollar grant has been awarded to the Osceola Community Hospital to purchase playground equipment and fund improvements to the new Bright Beginnings of Osceola County childcare facility.
The funding comes from the Community Facility Loan and Grant Program through the U-S Department of Agriculture, Office of Rural Development. The program assists poor rural areas and towns in developing essential public community facilities.
