(Sibley)– An accident shortly after 3:00 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of Highway 59 and 140th Street in Osceola county sent one person to the hospital.
The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office says it involved vehicles driven by 62-year-old Kenneth Flanigen of Sanborn and 22-year-old Latisha Bosma of Ocheyedan.
Flanigan was checked over by ambulance personnel on the scene but wasn’t transported. Bosma was taken by ambulance to Osceola Community Hospital and was transferred to a Sioux Falls hospital. There was no word on the extent of Bosma’s injuries.
Both vehicles were totalled.
Authorities say the mishap remains under investigation by the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office and the Iowa State Patrol.
