(Heron Lake, Mn.)– One person was injured in a car-deer collision Sunday evening in Jackson county.
The Minnesota State Patrol says 21-year-old Adam Schroeder of Mountain Lake was driving a 1993 Pontiac on Highway 60 two miles west of Heron Lake when he collided with a deer.
No injuries were reported to Schroeder. A passenger in the vehicle, 25-year-old Nate Brinkman of Mountain Lake, was taken to the Worthington hospital where he was treated and released.
Extensive damage was reported to the vehicle.
The mishap took place shortly after 5:30 p.m.
