(Undated)– Lakes area residents are digging out today (Monday) from as much as 10 inches of snow.
The spring storm started dumping the snow late last evening. Heavy snow fell through the night and into the early morning. Light snow is expected to continue into the early afternoon with an additional two inches expected…bringing storm totals to a foot in many locations.
Many schools are starting late…while others have called off classes entirely for the day (Monday).
The good news is that the snow should be history by the end of the week as temperatures will be back in the 60’s.
No serious accidents have been reported so far as a result of the snow, but authorities say there are a lot of vehicles in ditches.
