(Okoboji)– Tennis courts at Spier Park in Okoboji are in for a major overhaul.
The city council has awarded a bid to completely reconstruct the courts…which have deteriorated in recent years.
The contract was awarded to Beck Excavating of Spirit Lake in the amount of 201,278-dollars. The cost is below the engineer’s estimate of 223-thousand.
City Administrator Dennis Daly says the project has an October completion deadline.
