(Milford)– The Okoboji School Board earlier this week again reviewed plans for a new gymnasium to be built on the south side of the high school in Milford. Superintendent Quentin Reifenrath says some minor revisions were made. The plans have been sent back to the architect, and will be reviewed one final time by the board before they’re finalized.
Reifenrath says the changes may result in a slight delay in the project, but he doesn’t expect any adverse affects on the cost, estimated at slightly more than four million dollars. The project is being financed through local option sales tax proceeds.
Reifenrath says a bidletting could be held in late March or early April, with construction starting this summer.
