(Arnolds Park)– Okoboji Middle School Principal David Dorenkamp has been nominated for the 2003 Iowa Middle School Principal of The Year by the School Administrators of Iowa. Dorenkamp will be recognized at the organization’s awards banquet August 5th in Des Moines.
Dorenkamp has been Principal at Okoboji Middle School since 1993. Prior to that he served as seven through 12th grade Principal in Williamsburg, Iowa and as an eighth grade English teacher in Webster City.
Dorenkamp has been a school administrator for 21 years and an educator for 28 years.
