The Okoboji Boys Golf team placed third, yesterday, in a Siouxland
Conference meet behind Sibley-Ocheydan and Sioux Center. Tyler Ohl and Weston Burgeson each shot 42
for the Pioneers, who had 182 team points.
Sibley-Ocheydan had 160. Sioux Center
finished with 170.
The Okoboji girls golf team also placed third in their
Siouxland Conference meet. MOC-Floyd Valley was the top team with 193 points,
Sheldon had 208, the Pioneers combined to shoot a 210.
Okoboji’s Alex Mankle was the medalist, as she shot a 41 for
the best individual round.
