O’Brien County Men Sentenced On Burglary & Forgery Charges

(Primghar)– A Sanborn man has been sentenced in O’Brien County District Court to a charge of burglary in the third degree.

23-year-old Jeffrey Kane was sentenced to no more than five years in prison and was ordered to pay a 750-dollar fine along with 350-dollars in surcharges and restitution.

The charge was in connection with a burglary at a Hartley residence November 25th of last year.

A 26-year-old Sheldon man was sentenced to no more than five years in jail on a forgery charge.

Rickey Joe Beldin was charged for forging checks on a Sheldon bank.

He was also ordered to pay a 750-dollar fine along with 350-dollars in surcharges and court costs, along with restitution.

Kane and Beldin were sentenced Monday in O’Brien County District Court.
