(Primghar)– A former O’Brien county resident has been sentenced on a meth charge.
O’Brien County Attorney Bruce Green says 27-year-old Shawn Rooney…formerly of Paullina…was sentenced Monday to no more than 10 years in prison. Rooney was convicted of manufacturing methamphetamine…a class “C” felony. The incident took place December 3rd, 2003 in Paullina. It was investigated by the O’Brien County Sheriff’s Office.
In addition to the prison sentence, Rooney was also ordered to pay 1,465-dollars in fines and surcharges.
Rooney is already serving a 10-year sentence out of Woodbury county for conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine…a class “C” felony.
