(Sheldon)– O’Brien county authorities are investigating a fatal shooting.
Authorities say they were called to North Park Apartments in Sheldon around 7:30 last evening where they found a 17-year-old female who had been shot in the face. She was taken to a Sheldon hospital where she was pronounced dead.
No arrests have been made yet in the case.
The incident is being investigated by the Sheldon Police Department, O’Brien County Sheriff’s Office, and the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation.
