O’Brien Co. Searches Result In Charges Against 3 People

November 22, 2014

(Primghar)– Three people have been charged in a drug investigation in O’Brien county.

Sheriff Mike Anderson says the charges stem from search warrants his office executed Wednesday in Primghar and Paullina.

The first search took place around 3:30 p.m. at 555 South Green Avenue in Primghar. Anderson says a small quantity of marijuana was found, resulting in the arrest of 35-year-old Francis Everetts and 38-year-old Walter Everetts, who both live at the residence. Both were charged with possession of a controlled substance…marijuana; and possession of drug paraphernalia. Both were released from the O’Brien county jail after posting more than 2,200-dollars bond each.

Anderson says a second search warrant was executed around 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at 114 South Main Street in Paullina. Anderson says a small quantity of marijuana was found, resulting in the arrest of 42-year-old Brena Lund, who lives at that address. She was charged with possession of a controlled substance…marijuana…and possession of drug paraphernalia. Lund was booked into the O’Brien county jail on more than 2,200-dollars bond.
