(Sutherland)– An O’Brien county couple is 100-thousand dollars richer as the result of a recent Powerball drawing.
Brad and Donna Thorn of Sutherland matched five of the six numbers in the Powerball drawing held February 21st…good for 100-thousand dollars.
Donna Thorn says she was expecting to win no more than 500-dollars and was completely surprised when she learned they had won 100-thousand.
The Thorns plan to use their winnings to travel and to save for retirement.
