(Spencer)– A local housing authority has been awarded federal funding.
The Northwest Iowa Regional Housing Authority in Spencer will receive 40-thousand dollars through the U-S Department of Housing and Urban Development.
The funding is for the Housing Choice Voucher Family Self-Sufficiency Program. It will pay the salary of a program coordinator who will assure program participants are linked to the support services they need.
