(Spirit Lake)– No injuries were reported in a house fire this (Tues.) morning just west of Spirit Lake.
Spirit Lake Fire Chief Wally Jorgenson says firefighters were called to the Steve Pflueger residence at 1618 220th Avenue just south of Indian Hills Golf Course. He says the fire was in the kitchen area…originating in a waste basket under the sink. Jorgenson says damage was contained to that area of the house. He says the cause isn’t certain.
Occupants of the house were home at the time the fire broke out. They got out unharmed.
The Spirit Lake Fire Department was called to the scene shortly after 6:30 a.m. Firefighters were there about 45 minutes.
